The Mr Doof Doof Story: In Conversation with EastEnders' Theme Tune Supremo Simon May
Show Notes

He's responsible for one of the most iconic TV theme tunes of all time. Simon May is famous for EastEnders, the accompanying Julia's Theme and of course those 'Doof, Doofs'. He composed the themes to Howard's Way, Eldorado and a plethora of other programmes. And although Tony Hatch wrote the iconic Crossroads theme, Simon May has more than a passing association with the show. Simon's been chatting to MIM's Ashley Byrne....

The Distinct Nostalgia theme is owned by MIM Productions and composed by Rebecca Applin and Chris Warner.
